Investigando vários fatores que influenciam a percepção da saúde mental na participação em atividades físicas em West Sumatera, Indonésia: Uma abordagem usando SEM-PLS

Declaração do problema. O envolvimento individual em atividades físicas ou esportivas é significativo para a sobrevivência de uma vida saudável e de qualidade, portanto os fatores de apoio e influência precisam ser investigados. Propósito. Este estudo tem como objetivo testar um modelo relacionado a fatores que influenciam as percepções de saúde mental, incluindo consciência cognitiva, emoções, espiritualidade e ambiente social para participantes esportivos. Métodos. Um total de 1.351 voluntários de 18 regiões de Sumatra Ocidental participaram deste estudo. A técnica de coleta de dados utilizou uma pesquisa via Google Forms, distribuída pelas redes sociais WhatsApp. Os dados foram analisados pelo método Partial Least Square (PLS), avaliando validade de conteúdo, Variância Média Extraída (AVE), Modelo Interno e testes de hipóteses. Resultado. Os resultados mostraram que a consciência cognitiva afeta significativamente a consciência do ambiente social (t = 13,142; P<0,05) e as percepções de saúde mental (t = 4,458; P<0,05). A consciência emocional afeta significativamente a relação entre a consciência do ambiente social (t = 5,572; P<0,05) e as percepções de saúde mental (t = 4,870; P<0,05). A consciência ambiental e social afeta significativamente as percepções de saúde mental (t = 7,397; P<0,05). A consciência espiritual afeta significativamente a consciência do ambiente social (t = 4,014; P<0,05) e as percepções de saúde mental (t = 5,851; P<0,05). Conclusões. A consciência cognitiva, emocional e espiritual e o ambiente social são essenciais para influenciar as percepções de saúde mental em indivíduos que praticam esportes. As descobertas destacam a importância de prestar atenção aos aspectos cognitivos, emocionais, espirituais e sociais ambientais da atenção plena para a comunidade desportiva ou outras partes interessadas, para ajudar a criar um ambiente que apoie a qualidade de vida dos participantes envolvidos no desporto.
