Análisis del clima motivacional sobre la ansiedad y el autoconcepto físico en futuros docentes de Educación Física. Un modelo explicativo multigrupo

Resumen

Introducción: La orientación motivacional de la práctica de físico-deportiva puede condicionar el desarrollo de la ansiedad y del autoconcepto físico.

Objetivo: Este estudio pretende (a) elaborar y ajustar un modelo teórico de la relación causal del clima motivacional sobre el autoconcepto físico y la ansiedad y (b) analizar la relación causal del clima motivacional sobre las variables anteriores. 

Metodología: Se ha llevado a cabo un estudio exploratorio y transversal en una muestra de 568 estudiantes de la mención de educación física. Se han utilizado instrumentos fiables y validados para la recogida de los datos. 

Resultados: Los resultados manifiestan que un entorno orientado hacia la tarea se relaciona con la reducción de la ansiedad y un aumento del autoconcepto físico. Contrariamente un clima centrado en el ego muestra un incremento de los niveles de ansiedad en los participantes más activos.

Discusión: Estudios previos han resaltado que la práctica de actividad física promovida por una motivación intrínseca favorece la disminución de la ansiedad y el aumento de la imagen corporal. 

Conclusiones: Se destaca que los docentes deben adoptar estrategias pedagógicas que estimulen motivaciones intrínsecas con el fin de promover el bienestar de los discentes.
