Currently, with the production model to which companies are subjected, there is a great increase in competitiveness at work and the unbridled search for productivity and profit-making, causing several problems to workers, both physical and psychological. The aim of this study is to verify the influence of Labor Gymnastics in improving the quality of life and work performance of employees of sewing factions in the city of Apucarana – PR, Brazil. The survey was conducted with employees of the sewing factions who had participated in the Labor Gymnastics Program for at least four months, held twice a week and lasting 10 to 15 minutes, totaling 44 participants, 39 of whom were female. and 5 males. Data were collected through a self-administered questionnaire developed by the authors to meet the specifics of the study. The survey results demonstrate that Labor Gymnastics significantly promoted improvements in the quality of life as well as in the performance for work according to the participants themselves. According to the data, ~93% of the sample reported a lower prevalence of pain in the work environment and ~68% had an improvement in their willingness to work. After analyzing the data, it is concluded that Labor Gymnastics has an important role in the quality of life of workers and, above all, has direct interference in work performance.
