Resumo

Introdução: O papel dos professores no processo de aprendizagem é muito importante para criar um ambiente propício, pelo que se espera que os professores determinem o modelo de aprendizagem adequado.
Objectivo: Este estudo tem como objectivo determinar a eficácia do modelo de aprendizagem do voleibol baseado no ABPj na melhoria dos resultados de aprendizagem cognitiva e psicomotora dos alunos.
Metodologia: Esta investigação é uma experiência com um desenho de grupo de controlo não equivalente. A amostra foi tomada por randomização simples, sendo 82 alunos como grupo experimental com tratamento do modelo ABPj e 86 alunos como grupo de controlo com tratamento de Instrução Direta (DI). O instrumento utilizado foram os testes cognitivos e psicomotores de desempenho de aprendizagem. A análise descritiva, o teste de exigência de dados e o teste t de amostras independentes foram utilizados para a análise dos dados da investigação.
Discussão: Os resultados mostraram que o modelo de aprendizagem do voleibol baseado no ABPj foi eficaz na melhoria dos aspetos cognitivos e psicomotores dos alunos. O grupo experimental do modelo PjBL é melhor que o grupo controlo, como evidenciado no aspeto cognitivo valor t 10,137 e valor p 0,000 <0,05, e no aspeto psicomotor valor t 6,398 e valor p 0,000 <0,05.
Conclusões: A aplicação do modelo de aprendizagem ABPj na educação física pode ajudar a criar condições de aprendizagem mais eficazes, eficientes e agradáveis. Sugestões para que os alunos desempenhem um papel mais ativo no processo de aprendizagem.
