O treino do pé não dominante melhora as capacidades em jogadores de futebol palestinianos com menos de 13 anos: um ensaio clínico randomizado

Resumo

Introdução e Objectivo. O treino estruturado com o pé dominante continua a ser uma estratégia subutilizada no futebol juvenil, apesar do seu potencial para reduzir as assimetrias funcionais e melhorar a competência bilateral. A capacidade de executar habilidades técnicas com ambos os pés é essencial para um desempenho mais versátil e equilibrado. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar os efeitos de um programa específico de treino com o pé não dominante nas capacidades técnicas de jogadores de futebol palestinianos com menos de 13 anos de idade.

Metodologia. Foi realizado um ensaio clínico randomizado com 30 jogadores (idade média = 10,47 ± 0,97 anos), aleatoriamente designados para um grupo experimental (n = 15) ou para um grupo de controlo (n = 15). O grupo experimental completou 16 sessões distribuídas ao longo de oito semanas, com foco na corrida de campo, corrida em ziguezague e lançamentos com o pé dominante. O grupo de controlo continuou com o treino bilateral convencional. As avaliações pré e pós-intervenção incluíram o Teste de Passe de Futebol de Loughborough (fiabilidade: r = 0,89), o tempo de resgate em ziguezague e os testes de precisão dos lançamentos.

Resultados. O grupo experimental apresentou melhorias significativas em todas as variáveis avaliadas: precisão de passe (de 4,20 ± 1,37 para 6,40 ± 1,12; t(14) = −7,06, p < 0,001), tempo de drible (de 16,80 ± 1,97 s para 12,13 ± 2,19 s; t(14) = 10,78, p < 0,001) e precisão de remate. Em contraste, o grupo controlo não apresentou melhorias estatisticamente significativas (p > 0,05). As comparações entre os grupos pós-intervenção confirmaram diferenças significativas a favor do grupo experimental (p < 0,001).

Conclusões. Este estudo fornece fortes evidências empíricas que apoiam a inclusão sistemática do treino bilateral nos programas de treino de futebol juvenil. Os benefícios observados nas competências específicas sugerem que esta intervenção pode contribuir para o desenvolvimento técnico equilibrado dos jovens jogadores. Recomenda-se mais investigação longitudinal para avaliar os efeitos sustentáveis do treino bilateral no desempenho competitivo e na prevenção de lesões.
