Desenvolvimento de uma atividade de aprendizagem ao ar livre: melhorar as competências sociais com conteúdo de sabedoria local para a primeira infância

Resumo

Introdução e objetivo. A educação pré-escolar na Indonésia centra-se predominantemente nos aspetos cognitivos, negligenciando o desenvolvimento de competências sociais. As abordagens tradicionais baseadas na sala de aula limitam as oportunidades das crianças para interações sociais autênticas e formação de identidade cultural. Este estudo tem como objetivo desenvolver e avaliar um modelo de aprendizagem ao ar livre que integre os valores da sabedoria local da Kato Nan Ampek para melhorar as competências sociais na educação de infância.

Metodologia. Foi empregue uma abordagem de investigação e desenvolvimento (I&D) utilizando o modelo Addie (análise, design, desenvolvimento, implementação, avaliação). O estudo envolveu 186 crianças dos 4 aos 6 anos de idade de três instituições de educação infantil da cidade de Padang, juntamente com 12 professores. A recolha de dados recorreu a inquéritos, entrevistas e observações, com técnicas de análise quantitativa e qualitativa.

Resultados. O modelo desenvolvido demonstrou elevados scores de validade (4,29-4,41), indicando uma forte qualidade de adequação e qualidade do design. Os testes de eficácia revelaram uma melhoria significativa de 57,4% nas competências sociais das crianças, com um N-gain de 0,58 (eficácia moderada). O modelo obteve uma avaliação de praticabilidade de 82,5% dos professores, confirmando a sua viabilidade para implementação no mundo real.

Conclusões. A integração da sabedoria local de Kato Nan Ampek na aprendizagem ao ar livre melhora com sucesso as competências sociais na primeira infância, preservando os valores culturais.
