Estudo descritivo das lesões do ligamento cruzado no futebol feminino

Resumo

Estudos sobre a incidência de lesão do ligamento cruzado anterior mostram uma prevalência de duas a oito vezes maior em futebolistas do que em homens. O objetivo deste estudo foi descrever a epidemiologia e as características da lesão do ligamento cruzado anterior em jogadoras de futebol da primeira e segunda divisão espanhola e analisar a relação entre as fases do ciclo menstrual e a lesão do ligamento cruzado anterior. Foram analisadas 94 lesões do ligamento cruzado anterior ocorridas em 71 jogadores nas últimas 10 temporadas. A idade média dos participantes do estudo foi de 21,49 anos (DP = 4,42). O mecanismo de lesão mais comum foi o não contato e ocorreram mais lesões durante os jogos do que nos treinos. A análise estatística mostrou associação significativa entre o tempo de lesão, ou seja, se foi durante treino ou competição, e se houve ou não contato. Da mesma forma, foi encontrada associação significativa entre o tipo de campo onde ocorre a lesão e o tipo de salto da chuteira com o qual ocorre a lesão.
Por fim, em relação à fase do ciclo menstrual, observou-se que a maioria das lesões ocorreu durante a fase lútea (25 lesões) e menstruação (19 lesões). Os resultados obtidos refletem a alta incidência desta lesão no futebol feminino espanhol e a necessidade de estabelecer um protocolo de prevenção de lesões que a reduza.
