Os efeitos benéficos de seis semanas de exercícios de natação nos níveis de hormônio do crescimento e cortisol em ratos machos (Mus musculus)

Resumo

Este estudo teve como objetivo demonstrar os efeitos do exercício de natação de intensidade moderada pela manhã e à noite durante 6 semanas no aumento dos níveis de hormônio do crescimento (GH) e na diminuição dos níveis de cortisol em camundongos machos (Mus musculus). Esta pesquisa é um estudo verdadeiramente experimental com um desenho pós-teste de grupo de controle randomizado. Um total de 33 camundongos machos (Mus musculus) com oito semanas de idade, pesando entre 20 e 40 gramas, foram divididos aleatoriamente em três grupos: CN (n = 11; controle sem intervenção), ME (n = 11; exercício matinal), e AE. (n = 11; exercício noturno). Exercícios matinais e noturnos de intensidade moderada foram realizados durante 30 minutos por sessão com frequência de 3 vezes por semana durante 6 semanas. O ELISA foi utilizado para avaliar os níveis pós-teste de GH e cortisol em todas as amostras. A análise dos dados foi realizada por meio de ANOVA unidirecional, seguida do teste post hoc de diferença honestamente significativa (HSD) de Tukey, com nível de significância de p ≤ 0,05. Os resultados revelaram diferenças no aumento dos níveis de GH entre ME vs CN (5,71±0,88 vs 2,54±0,21 ng/mL, p=0,001), AE vs CN (7,18±1,66 vs 2,54±0,21 ng/mL, p= 0,001) e AE vs EM (7,18±1,66 vs 5,71±0,88 ng/mL, p=0,009). Da mesma forma, a diminuição nos níveis de cortisol diferiu entre ME vs CN (6,62±2,37 vs 10,69±4,38 ng/mL, p=0,004), AE vs CN (2,18±0,99 vs 10,69±4,38 ng/mL, p=0,001) e grupos AE vs ME (2,18±0,99 vs 6,62±2,37 ng/mL, p=0,008). Este estudo revelou que ambas as durações do exercício aumentaram significativamente os níveis de hormônio do crescimento e diminuíram os níveis de cortisol em camundongos machos (Mus musculus). No entanto, o exercício noturno de intensidade moderada foi mais eficaz no aumento dos níveis de hormônio do crescimento e na diminuição dos níveis de cortisol do que o exercício matinal de intensidade moderada em camundongos machos (Mus musculus).
