O papel das ferramentas digitais no desenvolvimento da competência digital dos professores de educação física: um estudo de caso de uma plataforma

Penelitian ini mengungkap kontribusi platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) terhadap kesiapan digital dan pengembangan kompetensi digital di kalangan guru pendidikan jasmani. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi sumber daya PMM yang paling menguntungkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan digital di kalangan guru pendidikan jasmani. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi berharga bagi para pendidik, pembentuk undang-undang dan pengembang teknologi pendidikan, sebagai rekomendasi strategi penerapan teknologi dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Jasmani yang paling efektif untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar siswa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan 155 guru besar dari provinsi Jawa Barat. Kuesioner yang berisi 18 pertanyaan pada penelitian sebelumnya digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data (Händel et al., 2020; Chen et al., 2024; Fernández-Batanero et al., 2022). Data dianalisis melalui statistik deskriptif dan disajikan dalam persentase dan frekuensi. Kesimpulannya akan mengungkapkan bahwa sebagian besar guru mendukung digitalisasi pembelajaran dan setuju bahwa PMM dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa, kompetensi guru dan memfasilitasi komunikasi guru-siswa. Sekitar 95% guru mengaku memahami penerapan PMM secara efektif. Data ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi digital awal dua profesor berperan penting dalam tingginya penerapan platform PMM. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan tingginya peringkat dalam hal persepsi, akses terhadap teknologi dan kemampuan integrasi, serta sikap positif akibat keterlibatan aktif guru dalam berbagai pelatihan teknologi yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi digitalnya.
