Cuotas en las directivas juntas das federaciones deportivas autonómicas: uma análise desde a perspectiva do género

Resumo

Introdução: A crescente presença de mulheres em puestos de liderança desportiva nos últimos anos está a reequilibrar-se gradualmente num ambiente historicamente desigual.

Objectivo: Marcado na teoria de Kanter sobre a segregação ocupacional por sexos, este estúdio investiga a composição de género das directivas das juntas de federações desportivas autónomas. Propomo-nos descrever, numa perspetiva de género, o perfil dos seus membros para além da aplicação de uma medida de quotas.

Método: Foi consultado por 194 membros de juntas diretivas (62,37% homens, 37,63% mulheres) através de um questionário de 26 itens sobre características sociodemográficas, profissionais e de experiência de liderança. Os dados são analisados ​​com estatística descritiva, testes chi-quadrado e teste t.

Resultados: As mulheres eram significativamente mais jovens e com um nível educativo mais elevado, mas os homens recebiam mais títulos de treinador, ocupavam mais presidências e tinham mais anos de experiência directiva. As mulheres estavam sobre-representadas nos lugares de vocalização e dedicavam menos horas semanalmente. Não existem diferenças significativas entre desportos individuais e coletivos.

Discussão: Embora a quota registe uma proporção numérica equilibrada, persistem disparidades de oportunidade e de poder. As mulheres ocupam papéis menos influentes, o que sugere que as contas por si só são insuficientes.

Conclusão: Para transformar a representação simbólica, são importantes medidas complementares, como sistemas de listas cremalleras ou estender las cuotas a puestos directivos clave. Futuras investigações poderão empregar projetos qualitativos e longitudinais para analisar as dinâmicas de poder. A igualdade de género exige reestruturar activamente as relações de poder, sem apenas cumprir objectivos numéricos.
