Integrando mindfulness e atividade física na prevenção e tratamento do diabetes: uma revisão sistemática

Resumo

Antecedentes: A necessidade urgente reside no desenvolvimento de intervenções mais eficazes e holísticas que abranjam as dimensões físicas e psicológicas da diabetes. O objetivo deste estudo foi investigar a eficácia da integração da atenção plena e da atividade física na prevenção e tratamento do diabetes. Método: A revisão sistemática da literatura existente visa destacar a importância de uma compreensão mais profunda da relação entre mindfulness e atividades fisicamente ativas no contexto da prevenção e controle do diabetes. Resultado: Os resultados desta revisão sistemática destacam vários resultados benéficos, incluindo melhorias no bem-estar psicológico e no controle do diabetes, cuidados holísticos, atividade parassimpática, resistência à insulina, redução do estresse, autogestão e alimentação consciente. Conclusão: Os resultados defendem o uso complementar de intervenções baseadas em mindfulness, como a Redução do Stress Baseada em Mindfulness (MBSR), MBCT e MB-EAT no tratamento da diabetes, oferecendo caminhos para mitigar o stress, reforçar a autogestão e potencialmente aumentar a diabetes cuidados através de melhores cuidados. Autoeficácia, conhecimento e comunicação.
