O mês de nascimento e a posição influenciam a utilização dos dois pés para jogar futebol em jogadores da categoria Sub-17?

O objetivo do presente estudo foi verificar as associações entre o efeito da idade relativa (EIR), a assimetria técnica funcional (ATF) e o estatuto posicional de jovens futebolistas da Copa do mundo Sub-17. Para isso, foram analisados todos os jogos das quatro equipes semifinalistas da Copa do Mundo sub 17 de 2019 (Brasil, França, México e Países Baixos). A análise de vídeo foi realizada através da plataforma LongoMatch. Para analisar a ATF foi utilizado o ‘’System of Assessment of Functional Asymmetry of the Lower Limbs in Football’’, instrumento que avalia o índice de utilização de ambos os membros inferiores durante o jogo. Para obter informações sobre data de nascimento, pé dominante e o estatuto posicional dos jogadores, foi utilizado o site Transfermarket. Os resultados mostraram super representação de jogadores nascidos no início do ano na divisão em tercis e semestres. Não houve EIR sobre o estatuto posicional dos jogadores, porém observou-se super representação de jogadores nascidos no 1º tercil em zagueiros, laterais e atacantes. Não houve diferença significativa entre os tercis e semestres de nascimento em relação ao índice de ATF e na assertividade das ações técnicas com ambos os pés. Assim, conclui-se que houve EIR na presente amostra, porém o tercil de nascimento não influenciou no índice de utilização de ambos os pés para jogar futebol.
