O padrão sanguíneo dos jogadores de críquete: exploração das variações dos parâmetros hematológicos em função dos papéis desempenhados

Resumo

Introdução: O críquete é um desporto ao ar livre no qual os jogadores, incluindo batedores, lançadores e versáteis, enfrentam diversos desafios e exigências físicas. O hemograma completo (CBC) é um exame essencial para a compreensão dos parâmetros hematológicos, desempenhando um papel crucial na monitorização da saúde geral, detetando deficiências como a deficiência de ferro ou anemia, avaliando a recuperação e otimizando o desempenho desportivo.
Objectivos: Este estudo tem como objectivo examinar as variações dos parâmetros hematológicos entre jogadores de críquete em diferentes funções.
Métodos: A amostra incluiu 30 jogadores de críquete do sexo masculino, selecionados aleatoriamente, com idades compreendidas entre os 14 e os 19 anos, com uma idade média de 16 anos. O teste CSC foi realizado utilizando o Analisador Hematológico Beckman Coulter DxH Série 500 em amostras de sangue intravenoso.
Resultados: Os resultados não indicaram diferenças significativas nos parâmetros hematológicos entre batedores, lançadores e versáteis, mas foram observadas pequenas diferenças dentro de cada função de jogo, embora todos os valores se tenham mantido quase dentro dos limites normais. Os valores médios gerais dos jogadores de críquete para os testes de hemograma foram os seguintes: hemoglobina (Hb) 14,97 mg/dl, glóbulos brancos (leucócitos) 8.474/cmm, avaliação total de células eosinófilas (TCE) 367/cmm, neutrófilos 52%, linfócitos 35%, monócitos 9%; Contagem de eosinófilos 3%, contagem de plaquetas (PLT) 216.367/cmm, volume plaquetário médio (VPM) 9,57 fL, contagem de glóbulos vermelhos (RBC) 5,3 milhões/cmm, medição de hematócrito (HCT) 44,02%, volume corpuscular médio (VCM) 83,9 fL, hemoglobina celular média (MCH) 28,8 pg, concentração média de hemoglobina celular (CHCM) 34 g/dL e largura de distribuição dos glóbulos vermelhos - desvio padrão (RDW-SD) 44 fL. Conclusões: Os papéis do batedor, do lançador e do jogador polivalente no críquete não alteram muito os resultados dos parâmetros hematológicos, embora existam pequenas diferenças dentro dos limites da normalidade. Dada a semelhança dos valores hematológicos em todas as funções, os treinadores devem implementar cargas de treino equilibradas em intensidade e volume para todos os jogadores, incorporando exercícios específicos para atender às diferentes exigências de desempenho de cada função.
