Escape Room como estratégia inovadora para a valorização da condição física em estudantes do Ensino Secundário

Resumo

Introdução: o teste de condição física constitui um recurso habitual na Educação Física, mas o menu é percebido de forma negativa pelo ex-aluno devido ao seu carácter avaliativo e competitivo. A gamificação, e em particular as escape rooms, consolidaram-se como metodologias inovadoras capazes de gerar experiências mais motivadoras e significativas.

Objectivo: analisar o impacto na satisfação e percepção da realização de uma sessão de teste de condição física baseada numa sala de fuga.

Metodologia: foi aplicado um projeto quase experimental, descritivo e transversal em 89 alunos do 4.º do ESO de um centro educativo público. A intervenção consistiu numa sessão de fuga que incluiu a realização de um teste de condição física integrada na dinâmica do jogo. A motivação foi avaliada através da versão espanhola da escala BPNES e de um questionário ad hoc com perguntas cerradas e abertas.

Resultados: observar pontuações médias elevadas na autonomia e relacionamento, e moderadas na competência. A pontuação global do BPNES foi superior a 4 (escala 1–5). A maioria do ex-aluno manifestou elevados níveis de satisfação e utilidade, e manifestou disponibilidade para repetir a experiência. A análise das respostas abertas mostrou categorias recorrentes ligadas à aprendizagem, à autocompreensão e à motivação.

Discussão: os resultados são alinhados com estudos anteriores que evidenciam o efeito positivo das metodologias gamificadas na motivação do ex-aluno e na perceção dos testes físicos. A narrativa e o trabalho em equipa foram fatores chave para transformar a avaliação numa experiência formativa.

Conclusões: a aplicação de uma sala de fuga constitui uma alternativa eficaz para melhorar a percepção e o sentido educativo do teste de condição física no Ensino Secundário, favorecendo a motivação e o desenvolvimento de competências curriculares.
