Uma avaliação das necessidades de integração da tecnologia móvel de fitness na educação física do ensino básico

Resumo

Introdução: O sedentarismo nos alunos do ensino básico é uma preocupação global, e o tempo limitado de instrução em educação física dificulta a participação. A tecnologia móvel para atividades físicas pode impulsionar a educação física na Indonésia, mas os dados sobre a preparação das escolas são escassos.

Objectivo: Este estudo analisou a preparação instrucional, digital e infraestrutural de uma escola básica para orientar o desenvolvimento de uma intervenção com atividades físicas via dispositivos móveis.

Metodologia: Este estudo utilizou uma abordagem mista, incluindo um desenho exploratório sequencial, começando pela recolha de dados qualitativos, seguida da complementação com dados quantitativos.

Resultados: O estudo observou um envolvimento de menos de 55% dos alunos em programas de educação física e uma diversidade insuficiente de exercícios durante as aulas. A preparação digital foi elevada: 80% das crianças utilizavam telemóveis e 90% dos pais aprovavam as atividades físicas através de dispositivos móveis, demonstrando a participação dos alunos e das suas famílias. Os educadores mostraram-se recetivos à inovação, mas necessitavam de formação digital. Apesar do apoio administrativo, a fiabilidade da rede Wi-Fi e o acesso aos dispositivos foram identificados como desafios de infraestrutura.

Conclusões: Estes resultados estabelecem os requisitos do utilizador, as restrições ambientais e as funcionalidades críticas da aplicação, como a capacidade offline e as interfaces simplificadas, que orientam a fase de Design do paradigma ADDIE. Pesquisas futuras devem ampliar o tamanho da amostra e examinar a usabilidade do protótipo para melhorar a generalização e a escalabilidade.
