Efeitos da postura de cabeça adelantados sobre a propiocepção cervical, a resistência muscular e a função cardiopulmonar durante tarefas cognitivo-motoras em estudantes universitários: um estudo transversal

Resumo

Enquadramento: A postura de cabeça adelantada (CPA) tem sido cada vez mais comum entre os estudantes universitários, em grande parte devido ao uso prolongado de dispositivos digitais e aos longos períodos de estudo sedentário. Este desvio postural pode influenciar a propiocepção cervical, a resistência muscular cervical profunda e as respostas cardiopulmonares. No entanto, algumas investigações examinaram estas variáveis ​​​​​​em conjunto durante situações de dupla tarefa funcionalmente exigentes.

Objectivo: Este estudo tem como objectivo explorar a relação entre a gravidade do CPA e (1) o erro na posição da articulação cervical, (2) a resistência dos músculos flexores e extensores cervicais profundos, e (3) a frequência cardíaca e respiratória durante uma área cognitivo-motora.

Métodos: Os alunos entre os 18 e os 26 anos são divididos em grupos de CPA e postura normal de acordo com o ângulo craniovertebral (ACV). É avaliada a perceção da posição articular, a resistência muscular e as respostas cardiopulmonares durante uma dupla tarefa de passos e aritmética.

Resultados: Os estudantes com PSF apresentam maior erro de posição articular, menor resistência muscular cervical e maior tensão cardiopulmonar durante a área dupla, em comparação com aqueles com uma postura normal. O ACV apresentou correlações significativas com a precisão propriocetiva e tanto o erro de posição articular como a resistência dos flexores predisseram significativamente a frequência cardíaca média durante a condição de tara dupla.

Conclusão: Estes resultados revelam as implicações funcionais do PSF e subtraem a importância da deteção temporária e da reabilitação dirigida aos estudantes que apresentam este desvio postural.
