Desenvolvimento e validação psicométrica da Escala de Barreiras Percecionadas no Remo com Assento Fixo (EBPR-BF-16) através de validação cruzada

Resumo

Introdução e Objectivo: O estudo das barreiras no desporto de competição tem recebido pouca atenção na literatura científica, uma limitação particularmente notável no contexto do remo em embarcações fixas. O objetivo deste estudo foi desenvolver e validar a Escala de Barreiras Percecionadas no Remo em Barcos Fixos (EBPR-BF-16).

Metodologia: Foi utilizada uma amostra de 423 remadores registados (idade média = 25,06 anos) das principais ligas de treino. Empregou-se um desenho de validação cruzada, com divisão aleatória da amostra em duas subamostras: calibração (n₁ = 212) para Análise Fatorial Exploratória e validação (n₂ = 211) para Análise Fatorial Confirmatória.

Resultados: A Análise Fatorial Exploratória revelou uma estrutura de cinco fatores, confirmada pela Análise Fatorial Confirmatória com índices satisfatórios (χ²/gl = 1,70; CFI = 0,928; TLI = 0,908; RMSEA = 0,058; SRMR = 0,056). A consistência interna (Ómega de McDonald) variou entre 0,65 e 0,77. Os cinco factores identificados foram: Contexto Social e Cultural, Clima de Formação e Apoio Técnico, Insegurança Psicológica, Recursos e Reconhecimento e Barreiras Motivacionais.

Conclusões: O EBPR-BF-16 apresenta-se como uma ferramenta válida e fiável para diagnosticar as barreiras percebidas no treino de remo, permitindo à equipa técnica elaborar estratégias de retenção personalizadas num desporto caracterizado pelo seu conflito sazonal único.
