O efeito das bandas de resistência e do treino complexo na força, potência, velocidade e agilidade dos jogadores de futebol

Resumo

Enquadramento e objetivo do estudo: A escolha do método de treino adequado é fundamental para o desenvolvimento das capacidades físicas dos jogadores de futebol. O objetivo deste estudo é avaliar os efeitos do treino com banda elástica (TFE) e do treino complexo (TC) na força, potência, velocidade e agilidade de jogadores de futebol do sexo masculino com idades compreendidas entre os 17 e os 19 anos.

Materiais e métodos: Este estudo apresenta um desenho experimental pré-teste/pós-teste com dois grupos. A amostra do inquérito foi constituída por 30 jogadores divididos em dois grupos, um a receber treino com TFE (n = 15) e o outro treino com TC (n = 15). Os instrumentos de investigação utilizados foram o dinamómetro de pernas, o salto em comprimento sem impulso, o lançamento de bola medicinal, a corrida de 30 metros e o teste de agilidade de Illinois. A análise dos dados utilizou testes t de amostras emparelhadas e testes t de amostras independentes com um nível de significância de p < 0,05, e o tamanho do efeito foi calculado através do teste exato de Cohen com o SPSS versão 23.

Resultados: O teste t de amostras emparelhadas mostrou que ambos os grupos, RB e CT, apresentaram melhorias significativas em todos os aspetos físicos (p < 0,001) com um tamanho de efeito grande (d > 0,80). O teste t de amostras independentes mostrou que o grupo CT foi significativamente superior ao grupo RB no aumento da força muscular das pernas (p < 0,001; d = 2,32) e da potência muscular das pernas (p < 0,000; d = 1,27), enquanto não foi encontrada qualquer diferença significativa na potência, velocidade ou agilidade dos braços (p > 0,05).

Conclusões: Ambos os grupos foram eficazes na melhoria do desempenho físico, mas o treino contínuo (TC) foi o método recomendado para otimizar a força e a potência através do mecanismo de potenciação pós-ativação. Além disso, o treino com ressalto (TR) mostrou ser um método flexível para melhorar a força e a potência, podendo ser adaptado às características específicas dos movimentos no futebol.
