Efeito do foco de atenção na biomecânica do salto unipodal em jogadores de futebol com reconstrução do ligamento cruzado anterior

Resumo

Introdução: As lesões no joelho estão entre as lesões mais comuns sofridas pelos jogadores de futebol ao longo da sua carreira. As lesões do ligamento cruzado anterior (LCA), em particular, são consideradas as mais complexas devido à natureza invasiva dos diversos tratamentos e ao prolongado processo de reabilitação.

Objectivo: Este estudo testou o efeito de diferentes abordagens de treino na biomecânica do salto unipodal em jogadores de futebol com um historial de reconstrução do LCA.

Metodologia: Foram comparadas diferentes abordagens de treino através da avaliação do desempenho neuromuscular através do teste de salto em queda (Drop Jump), empregando a análise de imagem e a videografia bidimensional.

Resultados: A abordagem externa apresentou melhores resultados no desempenho do salto; os doentes submetidos a esta abordagem atingiram maior altura e tempo de voo.

Discussão: Estes achados corroboram a hipótese da restrição de movimento, em que a abordagem externa promove uma função neuromuscular adequada e permite que os doentes em reabilitação de lesões do LCA alcancem melhores resultados em testes físicos.

Conclusões: As instruções baseadas numa abordagem externa funcionam como promotoras da dinâmica corporal, aumentando a geração de força e potência muscular em doentes submetidos a reconstrução do ligamento cruzado anterior.
