Relação entre o conhecimento de conteúdos, o conhecimento pedagógico de conteúdos e o desempenho no lançamento entre alunos do ensino básico

Introdução: A eficácia dos professores de educação física está fundamentalmente ligada à profundidade e especialização do seu conhecimento do conteúdo.
Objectivo: Examinar a influência do conhecimento e desenvolvimento do conteúdo na aplicação desse conhecimento e no desempenho dos alunos no lançamento.
Metodologia: Dois professores de educação física de escolas públicas do ensino básico e 124 crianças (idade média = 9,42 ± 0,49 anos). Os professores (correspondentes ao terceiro e quarto ano do sistema educativo iraniano) participaram num estudo quase experimental que combinava uma estrutura de caso único com uma pequena amostra ao nível dos professores e uma comparação entre grupos ao nível dos alunos. O estudo compreendeu três fases consecutivas: uma condição de comparação (ensino padrão), um workshop de desenvolvimento profissional ("knowledge package" para o lançamento) e uma condição experimental. Quatro variáveis de conhecimento do conteúdo (desempenho da tarefa, demonstração, feedback e alinhamento de modificações) e a velocidade da bola (via radar Doppler) foram medidas e analisadas utilizando estatística descritiva e testes t de amostras independentes.
Resultados: O conhecimento do conteúdo por parte dos professores melhorou significativamente após a intervenção (tamanhos de efeito de 1,49 a 7,23). As representações e demonstrações corretas aumentaram de 18% para 95%, e o feedback apropriado aumentou de 12% para 68%. Estas modificações pedagógicas estiveram associadas a melhorias significativas no desempenho dos alunos (t(120) = -4,66, p < 0,001, d = 0,84).
Discussão: Os resultados são consistentes com a literatura internacional sobre o impacto do conhecimento especializado na precisão do ensino e na aquisição motora infantil.
Conclusões: Um conhecimento mais profundo do conteúdo e do domínio do desenvolvimento transforma diretamente os comportamentos de ensino, otimizando a aquisição de competências motoras fundamentais em ambientes de ensino centralizados.
