Transferência de um programa de treinamento de força para sprint e salto vertical em jogadores de futebol juvenil: agachamento vs. lunges

Resumo

A velocidade de sprint e a capacidade de salto vertical são requisitos fundamentais para o alto desempenho no futebol. Há controvérsia sobre o tipo de exercício de força (bilateral ou unilateral) que permite maior transferência para esses gestos. O objetivo do presente estudo foi comparar o efeito do treinamento de força usando agachamento vs. lunges na velocidade de salto vertical e sprint linear em 20 metros em jogadores de futebol juvenil. Um total de 79 indivíduos divididos aleatoriamente em três grupos participaram do estudo: treinamento de estocada (GE) (n = 28; idade = 16,5 ± 1,2 anos); treino de agachamento (GE) (n = 24; idade = 16,3 ± 1,4 anos) e grupo controle (GC) (n = 27; idade = 16,5 ± 1,2 anos). GE e GS realizaram treinamento resistido duas vezes por semana durante 12 semanas. Antes e após a intervenção, todos os sujeitos foram testados em velocidade máxima em CMJ e sprint linear de 20m. Os três grupos melhoraram significativamente o desempenho (p < 0,05) no sprint de 20m, sendo a melhora significativamente maior nos grupos experimentais em relação ao GC (p < 0,05), não havendo diferenças entre os primeiros. Nenhuma melhora significativa na velocidade máxima do CMJ foi verificada para nenhum dos grupos. Tanto o treinamento de força bilateral quanto o predominantemente unilateral parecem ser benéficos para melhorar o desempenho da velocidade de deslocamento horizontal em jogadores de futebol juvenil, sem diferenças significativas entre eles.
