Melhora do desempenho pós-ativação em exercícios de pull-up com treinamento contra resistência elástica em pessoal tático

O Pull-up (PU) é um exercício multiarticular da parte superior do corpo que faz parte das avaliações de aptidão física para ocupações táticas (por exemplo, polícia, bombeiros e militares). Este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a melhora do desempenho pós-ativação (PAPE) no exercício de PU usando treinamento de resistência elástica (TRE) e treinamento de resistência tradicional (TR). Um total de 18 bombeiros treinados em resistência (28,3 [5,6] anos; 178,1 [6,8] cm; 78,1 [8,2] quilogramas; 24,6 [2,4] kg m-2) participaram deste estudo e realizaram quatro cruzamentos de protocolos PAPE. Dois protocolos consistiram em três séries de 3 repetições a 75 e 85% da repetição máxima (RM) na puxada lateral (LPD-M e LPD-H, respectivamente). Os outros dois protocolos consistiram em três séries de 3 repetições em tração vertical com faixas elásticas (VTEB) em intensidade "moderada" (VTEB-M) e "forte" (VTEB-H), de acordo com a escala Thera Band de percepção subjetiva de esforço. As repetições até a falha em UP foram mensuradas antes e após a aplicação dos quatro protocolos com pausa de 8 minutos antes e após o PAPE. Houve um aumento significativo nas repetições até a exaustão após todos os protocolos PAPE: LPD-M (P=0,007, d=0,19), LPD-H (P=0,023, d=0,17), VTEB-M (P=0,01, d= 0,13) e VTEB-H (P=0,001, d=0,28). A utilização do TRE e do TR tradicional em intensidades moderada e alta representam um estímulo adequado para a geração de PAPE nas UP.
