Autorregulação, bem-estar subjetivo e hábitos de vida saudáveis ​​entre estudantes-atletas indonésios

Resumo

Introdução: Os atletas estudantes enfrentam frequentemente desafios de saúde significativos, como o stress, a privação de sono e o stress mental.

Objectivo: Este estudo foi conduzido para examinar o papel da auto-regulação e do bem-estar subjectivo na influência de comportamentos de estilo de vida saudáveis ​​entre atletas estudantes na Indonésia.

Metodologia: O método utilizado é o quantitativo, utilizando desenhos de regressão linear múltipla e de regressão linear simples. A amostra utilizada neste estudo foi constituída por 255 atletas estudantes indonésios, utilizando técnicas de amostragem aleatória. Os instrumentos de investigação foram o Questionário de Autorregulação (SRQ) (α = 0,91), a Escala de Satisfação com a Vida (SWLS) (α = 0,807) e a Escala de Afeto Positivo e Negativo (PANAS) (α = 0,861; α = 0,853), bem como o Perfil de Estilo de Vida Promotor de Saúde II (α = 0,906).

Discussão: Será difícil alcançar comportamentos de estilo de vida saudável nos estudantes-atletas se a autorregulação e o bem-estar subjetivo forem aplicados conjuntamente pelos estudantes-atletas. Além disso, o bem-estar subjetivo não pode ser utilizado como preditor de um maior comportamento de estilo de vida saudável nos estudantes-atletas. Enquanto isso, a autorregulação pode ser parcialmente um preditor de comportamentos de estilo de vida saudável.

Conclusões: Este estudo indica o desenho da autorregulação dentro dos estudantes-atletas para alcançar e manter comportamentos de estilo de vida saudável.
