Explorando o impacto de uma aplicação Android de ténis de mesa em estudantes árbitros

Introdução: Os árbitros são cruciais para a justiça no ténis de mesa, mas os métodos de treino tradicionais enfrentam desafios devido à natureza evolutiva do desporto.
Objectivo: Esta investigação investiga a eficácia da aplicação Android Table Tennis (ATTA) para melhorar as capacidades dos árbitros.
Metodologia: Foi utilizado um desenho quase experimental com 30 alunos divididos em grupos experimental e de controlo; Os primeiros utilizaram o ATTA e os segundos receberam treino padrão, sendo as avaliações realizadas antes e após a intervenção.
Resultados: O grupo experimental apresentou um aumento significativo na aprendizagem, passando de 73,9 para 90,0, enquanto o grupo controlo melhorou de 74,0 para 83,0; A análise estatística indicou um valor de p inferior a 0,001, confirmando a existência de diferenças significativas antes e depois do teste.
Discussão: O ATTA promove a compreensão dos princípios do ténis de mesa e melhora as competências de arbitragem dentro de um contexto estruturado.
Conclusões: A aplicação Android aumentou significativamente a eficácia da formação de árbitros, uma vez que o seu formato interativo produz melhores resultados educativos do que os métodos tradicionais, o que sugere a sua adoção pelas organizações educativas para o ensino de árbitros.
