Competências de ensino da Educação Física avaliadas com instrumentos observacionais em ensaios clínicos randomizados: uma revisão sistemática

Introdução: A observação direta tem sido utilizada como método para analisar as práticas de ensino em Educação Física desde há anos. Embora algumas revisões sistemáticas se tenham centrado no papel dos professores em Educação Física, nenhuma se centrou nos instrumentos de observação utilizados para avaliar as competências docentes.
Objectivo: Esta revisão sistemática tem como objectivo analisar os instrumentos observacionais utilizados para avaliar as competências docentes em Educação Física, identificar as competências que incluem e examinar os métodos de observação e os processos de treino de observadores em artigos que utilizam amostras randomizadas.
Metodologia: Seguiu-se o protocolo PRISMA, sendo que a pesquisa resultou num total de 783 artigos. Os critérios de inclusão estavam relacionados com a presença das competências na investigação, com a utilização de instrumentos de observação e com a randomização da amostra.
Resultados: Sete artigos cumpriram estes critérios. A competência de ensino mais comum foi a capacidade de fornecer feedback aos alunos, mas outras, como a gestão de sessões, a capacidade de envolver os alunos e o uso de linguagem informativa, também foram encontradas. Os estudos selecionados utilizaram diversos instrumentos observacionais para avaliar as competências docentes.
Discussão: A análise dos instrumentos observacionais utilizados revelou diferentes abordagens, mas nenhuma delas procurou analisar de forma abrangente as competências docentes em Educação Física.
Conclusões: Salientamos a necessidade de desenvolver um instrumento observacional para avaliar as competências essenciais de ensino que os professores de Educação Física devem possuir.
