O objetivo do estudo. As habilidades motoras básicas das crianças são um aspecto importante do seu desenvolvimento físico, cognitivo e social. As habilidades motoras básicas incluem uma variedade de habilidades motoras necessárias para a vida diária, como caminhar, correr, pular e controlar o corpo. Essas habilidades motoras básicas se desenvolvem significativamente à medida que as crianças crescem e se desenvolvem. O objetivo desta pesquisa é determinar as habilidades motoras básicas de crianças do distrito de Ujungbatu. Materiais e métodos. Este tipo de pesquisa é quantitativa descritiva com levantamento. A amostra deste estudo foram as 30 crianças do distrito de Ujungbatu e todas elas foram retiradas para se tornarem amostras de pesquisa, por isso foi chamada de amostra total. Os dados foram coletados por meio do Instrumento TGMD-2 e posteriormente processados pela fórmula percentual. Resultados. Os resultados da pesquisa são: (1) A capacidade locomotora média das crianças no distrito de Ujungbatu é classificada como 46,67 "Média". (2) A capacidade média de controle de objetos das crianças no distrito de Ujungbatu é classificada como 36,67 "Média". (3) As habilidades motoras básicas possuídas pelas crianças no distrito de Ujungbatu são classificadas como média 46,67 "Média". Boas habilidades motoras básicas em crianças têm um impacto positivo em sua saúde física e mental. Crianças que possuem fortes habilidades motoras básicas tendem a ser mais ativas fisicamente, têm melhores habilidades sociais e sentem-se mais confiantes em uma variedade de atividades físicas. Cuncloção. Portanto, é importante que os pais, educadores e profissionais de saúde infantil apoiem o desenvolvimento das habilidades motoras básicas das crianças, oferecendo-lhes oportunidades de brincar, praticar e participar em diversas atividades físicas.
