Treino interválico de alta intensidade na diabetes tipo 1: uma revisão sistemática de ensaios aleatorizados

Introdução: Os doentes com diabetes tipo 1 (DM1) podem apresentar uma capacidade cardiorrespiratória reduzida e alterações nas variáveis metabólicas. Como complemento, o treino interválico de alta intensidade (HIIT) pode ser uma opção, capaz de influenciar resultados relevantes e fatores de risco para esta população.
Objectivo: Rever sistematicamente os efeitos do HIIT na DM1, em comparação com um grupo de controlo ou treino contínuo de intensidade moderada (MICT), nos resultados da aptidão cardiorrespiratória, perfil glicémico, perfil lipídico, composição corporal e pressão arterial.
Metodologia: Foram realizadas pesquisas nas bases MEDLINE (PubMed), EMBASE, Cochrane CENTRAL, Web of Science, PEDro e SPORTDiscus, e foram considerados estudos publicados no mês de fevereiro de 2025. A metaanálise foi realizada utilizando modelos de efeitos aleatórios e apresentada como diferenciação de media (DM) com confiança de 95% (IC). de 95%).
Resultados: Se identificar quinientos noventa estudos e, após a seleção, quatro estudos cairão para a análise. O HIIT aumentou o consumo de oxigénio (VO2) em 3,62 ml/kg/min (IC 95%: 1,01, 6,23) em comparação com o grupo de controlo. Não há diferença na comparação entre HIIT e MICT (DM 2,06 ml/kg/min, IC 95%: -0,90, 5,01). Em comparação com o grupo controlo, o HIIT não apresentou diferenças nos restantes resultados.
Conclusão: Os nossos resultados sugerem que o HIIT é uma ferramenta potencial para melhorar a aptidão cardiorrespiratória e demonstrar efeitos semelhantes aos do MICT em indivíduos com DM1.
